FOOD PROCESSING TRAINEESHIPS
Certificate III
FDF 30103
Ideal for all employees working in food manufacturing areas such as poultry
processing, food manufacturing and food packaging. This traineeship covers all
aspects of food processing from raw materials processing through to finished
goods.
The Certificate III Food Processing traineeship includes the following modules:
The Following core units :
- Monitor the implementation of OH&S
- Monitor the implementation of food safety & quality
system
- Present and Apply Workplace Information
- Use Basic Mathematic concepts
Prescribed units
Choose one of the following:
- Operate Processes in a Production System
or
- Operate Processes in a Packaging System
Prerequisites (from AQF Level 11)
Choose only two:
- Clean & Sanitize equipment
- Operate a Mixing & Blending process
- Operate a production process
Elective Units
Choose minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 from the following:-
" Lead work Teams & Groups
" Participate in a HACCP Teams
" Implement Pest control and prevention
" Monitor Implementation of Environment Management Policies & Procedures
" Support & Mentor Individuals & Groups
" Report on Workplace Performance
In addition other electives can be selected from AQF level 1 (maximum of 1(specialist
or general) AQF level 11 a maximum of 3 (specialist or general).
Elective Units
Choose minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 from the following:

- Implement Pest control and prevention
- Monitor Implementation of Environment Management Policies
& Procedures
- Support & Mentor Individuals & Groups
