A Federal Government incentive of $4,000 (approx) is available to increase the skills of your new and existing employees. We provide you with accredited training modules to train your employees on or off the job.
We will visit your company throughout the program and provide any additional training or assistance that you may need.
Benefits provided for your organisation under the program
- A $4,000 (approx) Federal Government training grant for each employee participating in the program
- Quality training funded by the Government of Victoria
- A Nationally Recognised and Accredited Certificate in Retail (Operations)
- State Government exemptions from Workcover Levy (Employers do not have to pay a Workcover premium for participating new employees but MUST be covered by an annual Workcover policy with a licensed insurer.)
- In some cases (more than three trainees) a completion bonus may apply for each trainee (new employee) in excess of three who are under twenty five (25) years of age.
Eligibility
Employees who:
- Are working for more than 15 hours per week
- Have been with your company for:
- Less than 3 months full-time
- Less than 12 months part-time or casual
Employees who do not meet the above may still be eligible as Existing Employees to undertake the program.
Costs Involved - No upfront fees
The only cost to you is a Training fee of $3,000 (approx amount) and is GST exempt. This fee can be paid under a scheme to best suit your cash flow. However, normally $1,500 on receipt of the commencement payment and balance on completion of training. Alternative arrangements - such as monthly payments - can be negotiated. Discuss your requirements with your MRP International representative.
